Get some bacon grease from either cooking bacon or some stored in your fridge.
Put the grease in a high sided pan, and heat until it becomes a liquid.
Add in the popcorn kernels, cover the pan with a lid, and move back and fourth over the heat source.
Once most of the kernels have popped, remove from heat and put into a bowl.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and salt, then toss to coat.
Return to pan and heat for a few seconds to caramelize the sugar.
